St. Pete Residents Organize Solar Bulk Purchase

Selects Brevard Solar, LLC to Complete Installations

ST. PETERSBURG –   FL SUN, the League of Women Voters Florida and the Suncoast Sierra Club have organized more than 120 residents in the area to go solar together. After a competitive bidding process the group of homeowners has selectedBrevard Solar , LLC to install systems for all of the participants. The collaboration is enabling participating homeowners to install solar panels on their homes at deeply discounted rates.
The group of homeowners worked with local nonprofit FL SUN to solicit competitive bids from local installers on behalf of the group. This resulted in competitive proposals being submitted from a high number of quality local installers and a difficult decision for the selection committee.
Brevard Solar’s vast experience and history of success was the major deciding factor in their selection. Each participant in the program will have their own system installed through individual contracts with the company.
Brevard Solar, the leading full-service residential solar provider headquartered in Florida, provides a premier customer experience. The company offers cutting edge technology, multiple financing options and superior customer service at every stage of your transition to solar electricity.
The Brevard Solar bulk purchase program will be open and available to new participants through November 30th, 2016. St. Petersburg residents who reside in the St. Petersburg Area are eligible to participate. Visit www.flsun.org/st-petersburg to learn more about solar and to sign up to join the group.
Jim Spann, Chief Executive Officer at Brevard Solar, says “Millions of Americans are realizing that solar power is not only environmentally friendly, but is a smart financial decision for their family.”
Angela DeMonbreun, FL SUN Program Director of FL SUN, says the bulk purchase benefits everyone involved: “This is the third bulk purchase we’ve helped organize in Florida in the past year and we continue to be amazed by all the interest we receive from homeowners. Going solar as part of a group makes the process much easier to navigate. Participants can rely on each other while saving money.”
Local residents interested in joining the co-op can sign up for more information at www.FLSun.org. Joining the co-op is not a commitment to purchase panels.
